Watching Barbie as Rapunzel, Steph and I couldn’t help but wonder where we’ve heard the voice of Penelope the dragon before. Then it dawned on her that is was the same voice as Cleo in Clifford: The Big Red Dog. Being the library geek that I was, I looked it up on imdb.com and discovered she was right. Cree Summer, the voice of Cleo and Penelope, is also the voice of a lot of other characters, including Elmyra from Tiny Toons, Penny from Insepctor Gadget, Abigail from Codename: Kids Next Door, and a host of other cartoons and video games. Wow. It’s funny to hear all these character voices almost on a daily basis, but never knowing they were all one in the same person. Oh, and it seems she has her own website too.
