Blame Johnny Rotten. Back in the late ’70s, he declared that anyone could make a record.
Yes, anyone can make a record, but, for the love of God, not anyone should.
The airwaves are now chockablock with seething hordes of celebrity-seeking so-called pop singers, with not a decent songwriter among ‘em.
