literary tips…

literary tip of the day:: If you’re writing a book right now, you may want to have the word ‘bone’ in the title, because everyone seems to be reading/ordering books with that word in it…at least here in the library.
Linda Fairstein - The Bone Vault
Carolyn Haines - Crossed Bones
Kathy Reichs - Bare Bones
Alice Sebold - The Lovely Bones
Linda See - Dragon Bones
Amy Tan - The Bonesetter’s Daughter
…and Jeff Deaver’s The Bone Collector, which has been out for a while now.
potential stocking stuff for this coming Christmas :: A librarian action figure. With shushing action!
okay, that was weird… :: 3 different cell phones just rang within 3 seconds of one another here at the library. Ssshhhh. Vibrate doesn’t only mean for pleasure, people.
if you can’t read this :: that means I’m probably having problems transferring this domain to a new host, dr2.net. And yes, I know this statement doesn’t make any sense.
I’m transferring icontemplate.com to a new host, dr2.net. For a picture of Andrew Jackson printed on special paper, I get 100 megs and 4 gigs of transfers. A little better than my current host, doteasy, where I only get 20 megs and 1 gig of transfer for…um, free. Plus I get all that cgi-Perl-PHP-MySQL-bin stuff that I’ve seen in the computer book section of Barnes and Noble. I’m looking into movabletype, but it doesn’t seem to offer a way to publish via only a browser like Blogger does. Oh well, I’m on the TypePad mailing list anyways. I hope that offers something better.
for no reason at all :: here’s my studio on cokemusic.com
seriously spooked by :: the Dementors, from the upcoming movie version of Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban.
having fun playing :: this extremely graphically intense game. Well, not really.
