aintitannoyingnews?

One of my favorite sites is the infamous aintitcoolnews.com. Now, I’m not a graphic design expert, a programmer, or a blogger extraordanaire, but wouldn’t it be feasible to change that whole site into a blog? Lately it’s been running slow because of all the pop-up and Flashy movie ads, and every time I click a link, I’ve got to wait for the article to load plus the excruciatingly long and often juvenile Talkback feature. Wouldn’t it be nice if it the article was just posted with a comment link? Better yet, it could be like Metafilter, where only registered users, in this case Harry Knowles and the various movie spys, post simple (or even complex) comments with links, and you can choose whether or not to read the comments.
As for the ads, that’s a whole different matter. Text-ads wouldn’t work so well with films, I just wish they opted not to display the ones with annoying sound which freaks you out when you forget to lower your speaker volume after playing a game of Star Wars : Galactic Battlegrounds.
And that’s my trivial rant for the day.

apparently, this reviewer :: didn’t like Bad Boys II one bit. I’ll need to see it for myself though. It better have been worth all the traffic delays down here too. Interesting tidbit though: While this movie was shooting on one side of Cape Florida State Park on Key Biscayne, 2 Fast 2 Furious was filming on the other side of the park (gotta love the Internet Movie Database). After those two movies finished production, it’s amazing there’s any cars left in South Florida.
