music prices…

So, while processing newspapers this morning, I came across an article about the record companies planning on raising the price of legal music downloads.
Now, I’m a recovering P2P user who have switched to legal downloads ever since my lovely other half bought me an iPod for Christmas. I’ve been using iTunes exclusively, but if the prices are raised too much, I may have to re-open some old applications. And I’m sure thousands out there agree. How this can help battle piracy is beyond me.
