We were distraught over broken tree limbs and power outages. We were lucky.
Looking at all those aerial shots reminded me of the tsunami disaster a few months ago, but this time it wasn’t some foreign country thousands of miles away. It’s right next door, and it was caused by the same thing that howled right above our house for a few hours.
Katrina literally came out of nowhere. Seriously, down here in South Florida the meterologist will alert you of a tropical storm developing off the coast of Africa. This time it felt like it just popped up off our coast. Perhaps it wanted to see Diddy.
