My daughter started school today.
It was a bittersweet feeling, looking at her wearing her little uniform, wearing her little pink bookbag, holding her lunchbox. Did we prepare her well enough for Kindergarten? While sifting through donations this afternoon, I came across a bookplate with a typewritten poem:
Bring Back My Books
A friend of mine decided on,
a special party date,
For those who borrowed books from him,
And kept them much too late.

A borrowed book should be returned,
as soon as it is read.
